Kicking off the school year with a bang, Cherry Pop Records’ My My Cherry Pie set the tone for an exciting quarter. Centered around DJ sets and a lively crowd, the show was a fitting introduction to Cherry Pop’s new year.

As soon as people walked inside the venue, the audience could dance below the DJ booth or head upstairs to get right alongside the performers. Gingham banners, streamers, and lights tied the space together, creating the playful atmosphere that Cherry Pop is known for.

The playful atmosphere was not just present in the decor, but in the drinks being served as well. Olipop was given out throughout the evening. Their range of flavors, from Vintage Cola to Blackberry Vanilla to Classic Grape, gave audience members plenty of options to sip on between sets. The brand’s playful flavors fit seamlessly with the show’s upbeat vibe, providing a refreshing break from the dancing.

And that break was certainly needed as people danced the night away. The crowd was full of those who were looking for a night out with their friends, whether that involved hanging out with some sick beats or dancing the night away. Everyone was excited for a good time!

First to take the booth was Ariyanna Durrani, whose experience with Phi Psi and Rocco’s shone through in her set. Seamless transitions between songs kept the audience on their feet, while well-known tracks like Tate McRae’s “Sports Car” received an added touch of personality from Ariyanna. She set the bar high for the rest of the night, electrifying the crowd before the clock struck midnight.

Next was MATZA. He kept the momentum going with a collection of party classics, including Icona Pop and Charli XCX’s “I Love It” and Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night.” The crowd sang along at the top of their lungs as MATZA’s set reverberated throughout the venue.

And the night wouldn’t be complete without a set from Cherry Pop’s own Lily Sturges, a standout talent whose versatility has made her an artist to watch. With talents spanning multiple sides of music, she brought that versatility to the booth. Her DJ set was packed with infectious beats and an undeniable momentum that carried throughout the entire venue. As the final set of the night, she brought the show to a high-energy close, keeping the crowd moving until the very end.

With this being the first show of the year, My My Cherry Pie is only the beginning of what Cherry Pop Records has planned for the months ahead. Stay tuned for more performances, more music, and an exciting roster of artists ready to make their mark.

New year. New memories. More play.
